3 February 2010 - NRL C12 (PDF - 617 kB) revised.

16 November 2009 - A Radiation Safety in the Installation and Servicing of X-Ray Equipment (Dental) training course has been added to the list of NRL-recognised courses.

12 October 2009 - A form (PDF - 460 kB) to apply for consent to export unsealed radioactive materials has been added to the Consents page in the Regulatory menu.

2 September 2009 - A new page, Security of radioactive sources, has been added to the Regulatory section of this website.

28 August 2009 - NRL C3 (PDF - 723 kB) revised.

19 August 2009 - A leaflet has been published, Ionising Radiation Incidents in Diagnostic Imaging (PDF - 1516 kB), to encourage and facilitate the reporting of incidents involving the exposure of patients and to describe how the supplied information will be utilised.

16 July 2009 - The International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) published a comprehensive review of research into possible health effects of radiofrequency fields (such as those from cellphones and cellsites) in July 2009, which can be downloaded from their website here (PDF - 3 Mb).

23 June 2009 – Environmental radioactivity annual report (PDF - 170 kB) published.

9 April 2009 -
Static magnetic fields - ICNIRP has published revised exposure guidelines for static magnetic fields.  These can be downloaded from the ICNIRP website, along with a fact sheet which gives a brief summary of the guidelines. 

The Health Council of the Netherlands has released its 2008 annual update on Electromagnetic Fields, reviewing RF electromagnetic fields and brain activity, RF electromagnetic fields and subjective symptoms, and giving an overview of their methodology for assessing scientific data.  (English version starts at Page 65.)

16 March 2009 - A Service engineers radiation safety training course has been added to the list of NRL-recognised courses.
